About Treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Project
Treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a secondary analysis project of the National Ambulatory Health Care Survey (NAMCS) examining current treatment for OCD in office-based visits and rates of treatment for racial/ethnic minorities.
This project is part of the Promoting Culturally-Competent Policy Research initiative goal, which seeks to conduct policy-relevant health services research in order to promote the cultural competence of mental health services in New York State.
Project details
Data analysis is completed. Two peer-reviewed manuscripts on current treatment and rates of treatment for racial/ethnic minorities, are under development. Findings will be presented to OMH, and in a poster at the Academy Health Annual Research Meeting in June, 2013.
