September 17, 2013 – “Novel Program Offers Insight Into Mental Illness Recovery”
A novel program that combines photography and group discussion sessions may provide greater insight into the recovery process of patients with mental illness, a new study suggests.
Known as “photovoice,” the program equips patients with cameras that allow them to document their recovery efforts and present the photographs in weekly group sessions.
