About the Prodromal Psychosis project
The goal of this project is to examine the effects of race/ethnicity, trauma exposure, and dissociation on the rate of false positives for prodromal psychosis in a young adult community-based population from diverse cultural backgrounds.
This project is part of the First Episode Psychosis initiative, which seeks to explore issues of race and culture in treatment following a first episode of psychosis (FEP).
Project details
- Led by Deidre Anglin, PhD, Dept of Psychology, Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership, City University of New York.
- The goal is to collect up to 500 surveys. A computerized survey has been developed and data collection and analysis are underway.
